Damar Hamlin: Photos — The NFL came to a halt on Monday night after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after suffering cardiac arrest on the field during their Jan. 2, 2023 game. After blocking a tackle from Cincinnati Bengals player Tee Higgins, he briefly got up before falling unconscious on the turf. He was administered CPR and oxygen before being taken to the University Of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

After the incident, the game was suspended as Damar’s visibly distraught coaches, teammates, and opponents reeled. The game was officially postponed by the league at 10pm EST, an hour after the collapse.
