Yung Miami Enlists Cardi B’s Help For ‘Twerk’ Music Video

Need a good song to twerk to? Blast any song by City Girls — a duo made up of the rappers Yung Miami and JT — who have put out hits like “Twerk,” “Act Up” and “Take Yo Man.” Yung Miami and JT actually met in middle school, and the friendship eventually paved the way for their debut studio album, “Girl Code,” in Nov. 2018. The record was an immediate success, and even featured guest vocals from big names like Cardi B, Lil Baby and Jacquees! 

Cardi’s collab with City Girls, “Twerk,” led to a music video that has since attracted more than 100 million views since dropping on YouTube in Jan. 2019. Sadly, JT was not featured in the video, since she had began a prison sentence for reported fraudulent credit card charges in the summer of 2018 (Yung Miami announced her release in Oct. 2019). Instead, Yung Miami teamed up with Cardi to twerk and show off their dance moves, all while covered in animal-themed body paint, in Miami!
