Bindi Irwin Visits Empire State Building — Bindi Irwin is a dedicated conservationist and animal rights advocate from Australia who has appeared on television since she was a toddler. Bindi is the daughter of Terri Irwin and the late, great Steve Irwin, also known as the Crocodile Hunter. A young Bindi, along with her mom and her brother, Robert Irwin, were fixtures on his show of the same name. Steve sadly died in 2006 while filming ‘The Crocodile Hunter’, after a large stingray mistook his shadow for a predator, and stabbed him in the chest with poisonous barbs. Bindi was just 8 years old. Around that time, she had her own nature show called ‘Bindi The Jungle Girl’, which featured her dad in several episodes before his tragic death. Bindi is also an actress and a singer, and released a series of fitness tapes for children when she was young. Bindi won season 21 of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ when she was still just a teenager.
