Billy Joel, born May 9, 1949, is one of the most renowned American musicians. The native New Yorker was born in the Bronx and raised on Long Island and Hicksville, New York. The Kennedy Center Honors recipient has released over 33 top-40 hits in his 20-year music career. Some of his most renowned tracks include “Movin’ Out,” “Uptown Girl” and “Empire State of Mind.”
The “Piano Man” is also a father to three daughters. He shares his first daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with his second ex-wife, Christie Brinkley. Alexa was born in 1985, the year that Billy and Christie wed. Before Christie, he was married to Elizabeth Weber Small. He then was married to Katie Lee for five years before he got together with his current wife, Alexis Roderick.
Billy Joel and Alexis Roderick started dating in 2009. In 2015, Alexis gave birth to their daughter, Della Rose Joel. Two years later, she had their second child together, Remy Anne Joel. Most recently, Billy and Alexis tied the knot in December 2020 and are still happily together to this day.
