Bella Hadid, born October 9, 1996, is now 29 years old and one of the most recognizable faces in fashion. The daughter of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid and real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, Bella grew up surrounded by creativity and ambition. After finishing high school, she followed in the footsteps of her older sister Gigi Hadid, launching her modeling career with Victoria’s Secret Pink before landing major campaigns with Balmain, Ralph Lauren, and Dior Beauty, where she serves as an ambassador. Though she briefly studied photography at Parsons School of Design, Bella left to focus on modeling full-time, a decision that paid off when she was named Model of the Year in 2016.
In recent years, Bella has been candid about her long battle with Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with as a teenager. She’s spoken openly about the chronic symptoms she faces, including fatigue, joint pain, and brain fog, and how they’ve affected her life and career. In 2025, she shared photos from a hospital stay, explaining to fans that she had been “silently suffering” but was focused on recovery. Her mother, Yolanda—who also lives with Lyme disease—called her daughter a “warrior” and praised her for her strength and honesty.
