‘Batwoman’ Cast Exclusive Portraits — ‘Batwoman’ stars Rachel Skarsten and Meagan Tandy stopped by HollywoodLife’s 2019 NYCC Portrait Studio. The new CW series premiere Oct. 6. ‘Batwoman’ begins three years after the mysterious disappearance Batman. Gotham is a city in despair. Without the Caped Crusader, the Gotham City Police Department was overrun and outgunned by criminal gangs. Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kate (Ruby Rose) will have to become what her father loathes, a dark knight vigilante, soaring through the streets of Gotham as Batwoman. Rachel plays Alice, who is the head of a criminal gang. She also happens to be Kate’s sister, Beth, who was presumed dead after a car accident years ago. The big reveal was made at the end of the series premiere. Meagan plays Sophie, Kate’s former love. The show will air Sundays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
