The ‘No One Else on Earth’ artist has experienced a few setbacks in the past but always updates her fans on how she is doing.
Wynonna Judd’s dedicated fan base has expressed concern over the country singer’s health. Though the “No One Else on Earth” artist’s music career only continues to blossom, she has experienced a few setbacks that shocked audiences. Keep reading to get an update on how Wynonna’s health is today.
The Judds band member started the year off on an unfortunate note. Though she was scheduled to perform alongside fellow country singer Kelsea Ballerini on New Year’s Eve, Wynonna had to skip the show due to an “extreme bout of vertigo” at the time.
“I was so looking forward to singing with my dear @kelseaballerini tonight,” Wynonna wrote via Instagram in January 2023. “Instead, I am on the bus struggling with an extreme bout of vertigo and am unable to perform. Nashville, I am absolutely heartbroken and so sorry to have to let you all down tonight. Kelsea, I look forward to stepping on stage with you in February better than ever!!!!”
During the November 2023 CMA Awards, viewers watched as Wynonna appeared off balance while singing on stage with Jelly Roll. As the two sang “Need Favor,” Wynonna appeared to grab Jelly Roll’s jacket while belting out the notes. Upon seeing the show, many fans took to social media to express their concern.
“She looked like she could barely walk, grabbed Jelly Roll’s jacket and didn’t MOVE,” one X user tweeted. “Why is Wynonna Judd gripping tf out of Jelly like that … and why is she screaming the words?” another person chimed in.
The next day, Wynonna explained in an Instagram video that she was, in fact, OK but was “so freaking nervous” to perform despite being a powerhouse singer.
“Don’t read the comments, I read the comments!” she began. “I’m just gonna come clean with y’all. I was so freaking nervous. I got out there, and I looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to because I’m such a fan of his, and he asked me to sing, and I said, ‘Absolutely!’ I got out there, and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line.”
Despite having a few setbacks this year, the “I Saw the Light” artist appears to be in great spirits and has insisted that fans don’t need to worry. She is even set to continue her 2023 tour as the year comes to a close.
