Lace Morris is back! Six years after her last trip to the beach on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, Lace is returning for season 8. The 32-year-old will be one of the initial cast members featured in the season 8 premiere on Sept. 27. She’ll hit the beach with 18 other singles from Bachelor Nation who are hoping for another shot at love. Of course, as the weeks go on, more contestants will be added to the mix, with rose ceremonies leading to eliminations along the way, as well.
It’s been a long time since Bachelor Nation has gotten to see Lace on our television screens. Learn more about the returning star with five facts below!
Lace was initially a contestant on season 20 of The Bachelor, which aired at the beginning of 2016. She went on the show in hopes of falling in love with season 20’s Bachelor, Ben Higgins. Lace quickly emerged as the “villain” of season 20 during the first two weeks of filming. However, she decided to quit the show on her own accord during week three, telling Ben that she wanted to work on herself before pursuing a relationship with someone else.
Less than one year after filming The Bachelor, Lace went to Mexico for season three of Bachelor in Paradise. Although she had a brief fling with Chad Johnson on the show, he left early on and she began pursuing Grant Kemp. Although the two had some rocky moments throughout the season, they wound up getting engaged at the final rose ceremony. Lace moved to San Francisco to be with Grant after filming, as well. Unfortunately, though, the relationship was short-lived. By November 2016, just two months after the BIP finale, Lace and Grant announced their split.
Several months after the breakup, Grant described the relationship as “volatile,” and admitted that he and Lace do not talk anymore. Meanwhile, in 2017, Lace started dating a man named Russell who she met on Bumble, although they eventually broke up, as well.
Lace works as a real estate agent in Denver. She has been a licensed realtor with Compass since 2017. Before that, she worked on the Social Media Marketing team at CEG Talent. She also worked at various restaurants in Denver between 2006 and 2016.
Lace graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2011 with a degree in Hospitality and Sports Communications. She obtained her Real Estate License from Kaplan University in 2014, as well.
Lace is a mom to a dog named Lola. She is passionate about fitness and the outdoors, as well, according to her Instagram page.
