The late porn star was found dead in her and her boyfriend Brett’s home following what is speculated to be a drug overdose.
Jesse Jane, an adult film star and actress, was found dead earlier this week in her Oklahoma home alongside her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller. Multiple outlets are reporting that the duo appeared to have died from a drug overdose. However, an official autopsy has not been revealed.

At just 43 years old, Jane was discovered deceased in her home in Moore, Oklahoma in late January, 2024. According to authorities, it’s unclear how long she and her boyfriend, Brett, were dead. A welfare check was issued by Brett’s employer, per TMZ, after not hearing from him for several days. According to the outlet, law enforcement officials believe that their deaths resulted from a drug overdose.
A cause of death has not been determined.
Apart from being a porn star, Jesse also appeared in film acting roles. In 2003, she had an uncredited role in Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. Later, she appeared as herself in multiple on-screen projects, including an episode of Entourage and Starsky & Hutch.
Jesse also appeared as herself in Dr. 90210, Gene Simmons Family Jewels and Bad Girls Club.
Over the years, the adult entertainment star hosted several award shows, such as the AVN Awards.

In 2000, Jesse welcomed her son, whose name has not publicly been disclosed. In 2005, she married her husband, Rich Taylor, and announced their divorce in 2012.
Jesse’s real name was Cindy Howell. She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and began her adult film career with Digital Playground after graduating from high school.
