Hailie Jade Mathers took to Instagram to announce her engagement to her longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock on Feb. 6. The 27-year-old daughter of Eminem shared gorgeous photos of the sweet moment her soon-to-be husband got down on one knee and asked her to marry him and added a loving caption. “casual weekend recap… 😭💗 2.4.23 💍 i love you @evanmcclintock11,” it read.

Evan is an executive at a management company.
The impressive young businessman works for the investigation management company Scout in Michigan. He started his job with them in 2018 and was promoted from the role of New Business Development Executive to Enterprise Growth Executive in August 2020. According to his LinkedIn page, Evan deploys “complex-loss investigatory technology + services to enterprises and large government entities.”
“My most successful use cases land me in the FMCG industry,” he wrote on his profile. “These are multi-tenant solutions configured for the Legal Suite, centralizing data and workstreams–resulting in digital centers of excellence and automated business intelligence.”
He met Hailie at school.
Hailie and Evan both attended Michigan State University, where she studied Psychology and he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and met there. They started dating in 2016. Before attending Michigan, he spent a year at Rochester University, where he had an academic and athletic scholarship, in 2014.
