Madonna got really comfortable with Andrew Darnell in a series of photos on her Instagram during Labor Day weekend 2022. Madge, 64, shared a photo of herself leaning into Andrew, 23, with her fresh pink-hair look on Sept. 4, 2022. The “Like A Virgin” popstar also posted a photo of Andrew holding up her black purse with the word “Dealer” on it. Madonna also reportedly was spotted “cuddling” with Andrew at a club in New York over the weekend, a source told Page Six at the time.
The photos of Madonna and Andrew spending time together were shared about five months after the singer broke up with her former backup dancer Ahlamalik Williams, after three years of dating, in April 2022. Now, it seems that the “Hung Up” hitmaker has moved on, as she and Andrew have reportedly broken up after five months of dating, Page Six reported on Feb. 24, 2023. 1. Andrew Is A Model
With Madonna being a fashion icon as well as a popstar, it’s no surprise to find out that she’s spending a lot of time with a model. Andrew’s Instagram bio explains that he’s signed to the worldwide agency IMG Models. He’s also posted a few photos of his great looks on his social media.
2. He’s Dabbled In Acting
While modeling seems to be Andrew’s main gig, he’s also ventured into the world of TV. He appeared in six episodes of the HBOMax series Betty, which follows a group of women entering the world of skateboarding. He played the character Sylvester in the series, per IMDb.
3. He’s Spent Time With Madonna Since At Least August
While he only appeared on the Queen of Pop’s Instagram recently, Andrew has posted photos of himself with Madonna before the singer shared the selfie. The model posted a photo of himself and Madonna hanging out in what appeared to be a New York City club back on August 11. A week later he posted another photo of him and Madonna getting cozy together.
Despite their seemingly passion-filled romance, all things come to an end. A source claimed to Page Six that Madonna and Andrew are no longer a couple and have parted ways. “It was only a very casual thing [with Darnell] so she’s not broken-hearted. It’s just that it has come at a bad time,” an insider told the outlet. “She had a lot of fun with Andrew but it was never love or anything like that.” In addition, the insider claimed that the 23-year-old is not involved with someone “closer to his own age”, as the blonde beauty is 41 years his senior.
4. He’s A Skateboarder
Not only is Andrew a model and actor, but he’s also incredibly athletic. He’s shared tons of videos of him skateboarding on his Instagram, and he can clearly shred. He’s posted clips of him grinding rails and doing flip tricks off of ramps, showing off his awesome skills. It’s no surprise that he was cast in the skateboarding-centric series Betty, as he already has tons of the skills down.
5. He Has A TikTok
While Andrew is most active on his Instagram, he’s also shared some comedic videos to his TikTok account. He linked to the video-sharing app in his Instagram bio. He only has two videos posted. One was him and some friends trying to throw a pair of sneakers over a telephone line. The other video featured him getting ready to race some friends in the middle of the night.
