Vice President Kamala Harris is nearing the end of the campaign trail. After President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race earlier this summer, he immediately endorsed the VP. She later accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination and embarked on her campaign. With dueling rallies against Republican candidate Donald Trump, Harris has traveled to multiple battleground states to encourage voters to cast their ballot for her.

When Was Kamala Harris’ Ellipse Speech?

Harris delivered a powerful speech on October 29 at the same spot where Trump appeared hours before the January 6 United States Capitol attack took place in 2021.

“America, we know what Donald Trump has in mind. More chaos. More division,” the former prosecutor said while speaking to a crowd of thousands. “And policies that help those at the very top and hurt everyone else. I offer a different path. And I ask for your vote.”

While comparing her rhetoric and policies with Trump’s, Harris concluded her speech by vowing to invite voters of all backgrounds, and parties, “a seat at the table” with her.”

“I pledge to listen to experts, to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make and to people who disagree with me,” she added. “Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t believe people who disagree with me are the enemy. He wants to put them in jail. I’ll give them a seat at my table.”

Kamala Harris’ Rally Schedule

Harris’ speech in front of the White House was not her last stop on the campaign trail. Per USA Today, the VP is expected to travel again on October 30 to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Raleigh, North Carolina. She will then visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On October 31, Harris is set to fly west to Arizona and Nevada, the outlet reported. After that, she will head over to Las Vegas.

Polls show that Harris and Trump are neck and neck with voters. As of October 30, Harris has a small lead over Trump in the states, according to BBC and Projects 538. Harris has 48 percent, and Trump has 47 percent, per both outlets.
