Broadway lost one of its own, Gavin Creel, who died on Monday, September 30. The actor, known for his Broadway performances, passed away at the age of 48. His final performance was in December 2023, according to the New York Post.

Gavin’s Cause of Death

According to the New York Post, Gavin died from metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma, a cancer he was originally diagnosed with in July 2024.
