2020 has been a year to remember, mostly because everyone wants to forget it! But, the silver lining in a global pandemic and the continued fight for social justice is the amount of celebrity babies born! Throughout quarantine, superstar moms powered through pregnancy and endured labor and childbirth during a very uncertain time. As such, we felt it only was right to look back at some of the amazing parents with their newborn babies!
Like any doting parent, a number of celebs immediately took to social media to announce the arrival of their bundles of joy! A few of the images posted on Instagram came directly from the hospital beds of these celebs — but a few were captured in the intimate moments just days — even weeks — after they were born. Take a look below at stars with their babies, who were welcomed into the world during quarantine!
Candice Accola
Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola and husband Joe King welcomed a new member to their family on December 1, when she gave birth to their second child. “Last week our baby girl flew into the world and into our hearts,” Candice announced on Instagram on Thursday, December 10. “We love you Josephine June King! 12/1/20.” So sweet!
Ciara
Ciara and Russell Wilson welcomed their second child together, son Win, on July 23. The day following their little one’s birth, both parents took to social media to share a video of Ciara singing “Happy Birthday” to her newborn son. The same day, Russell posted the parents’ first photo with Win, featuring mom and dad beaming with pride at the camera — how sweet!
Jinger Duggar
Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, welcomed their precious baby girl, Evangeline Jo Vuolo, on November 25. Jinger was so excited to show off her newborn daughter, the couple’s second little girl, to the world and posted the above photo with the following caption. “Evangeline Jo Vuolo has arrived! We are so thankful to God for this precious little angel.”

Bachelor In Paradise alums Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are officially outnumbered! The couple welcomed their newest addition on November 14 and Jade has been smitten ever since. “Reed wiggled his way over to the left side of my chest where his ear found my heartbeat; his whole body calmed down and his eyes opened wide. I could tell he was listening to the familiar rhythm of my heart as he locked eyes with me. And then just like that he softened into me and fell asleep,” she captioned the above selfie.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcomed their sweet little girl, Willa, in July! The couple kept Sophie’s pregnancy very quiet, and didn’t even address it with the press. Since then, the newly-minted family-of-three has been seen going on walks through their Los Angeles neighborhood, and Sophie has given fans a look at her pregnancy journey on Instagram!
Melissa Benoist
Melissa Benoist and her husband, Chris Wood, became first-time parents at the end of the summer! Melissa waited just a few short weeks before showing her fans a glimpse of the couple’s baby boy, Huxley Robert Wood. “Huxley Robert Wood got here a few weeks ago,” she began, adding, “and this little boy is everything.”
Meghan McCain
First-time mom Meghan McCain has been living in total “bliss” since welcoming her baby girl, Liberty Sage McCain Domenech, at the end of September! The View co-host, who shares her daughter with husband Ben Domenech, hasn’t posted too many photos of her precious little one. However, fans got to see Meghan channel her soft, maternal side in the above October 14 post!
Gigi Hadid
Fans were absolutely thrilled when Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed their sweet bundle of joy in September! Since that time, the little family has been fairly private, but Gigi has offered a few small glimpses of the couple’s baby girl. This above photo was taken at the Pennsylvania farm owned by Gigi’s family, a perfect place for the infant to celebrate her first holidays!
Katy Perry
At the end of August, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their sweet little one, Daisy Dove Bloom! The couple, who are both Goodwill Ambassadors to UNICEF, chose to share their good news via the United Nations agency’s Instagram account on August 26. “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the couple wrote in a joint statement. Nothing is sweeter than those first few days at home with a newborn baby. Modern Family alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson welcomed his and husband Justin Mikita‘s firstborn on July 7, and Jesse documented on Instagram a precious moment when he and Justin finally took their son, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, home. “Currently working on my new album,” Jesse captioned a video of himself singing a silly song to his little boy.
Nao
British singer and songwriter Nao was over the moon to welcome her precious baby girl at the end of April! In one of her very first posts to Instagram since her daughter’s birth, Nao shared her hope that “by the time your feet touch the ground it’ll be a better place for you, that you will not be judged by the color of your skin, that you’ll not be held back by your gender, that you’ll take your rightful seat at the table equal to others.” What a beautiful and powerful message!
Jasmin Renna
Jasmin Renna, the wife of The Sandlot alum Patrick Renna, welcomed their son, Liam James Renna, on June 6! The new addition makes the Rennas a family of four, and Jasmin couldn’t have been prouder! She also couldn’t thank the “two nurses and my doctor enough,” for helping her during the birth. “They were so great and I appreciate them so much.” Shout out to the healthcare workers!

Bachelor Nation alum Jenna Cooper fell absolutely in love with her little girl, Presley Belle Hudson, after her birth at the end of May! Jenna has even created a whole Instagram page devoted to her little girl, whom she shares with partner Karl Hudson. Too cute!
Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi
After so much time trying to get pregnant on her own, Glonesa “GG” Gharachedaghi welcomed her son, Elijah, into the world on April 27! “Welcome to the world little Elijah,” she captioned her first Instagram post with her precious baby boy.

Carson Daly and his stunning wife Siri Pinter welcomed their daughter — Goldie Patricia Daly — on March 26! The new addition to their family makes the Daly clan a family of six, along with their kids Jackson James, 11, Etta Jones, 7, and London Rose, 5.
