Bio: Phaedra Parks (born Phaedra Parks in Athens, Georgia on October 25, 1971) is a successful entertainment attorney and a cast member on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. As an attorney, she has been involved with high-profile cases like Atlantic Records’ rapper Drama’s, and she has also represented Too $hort. She joined the RHOA cast in its third season, and her plot lines have largely circulated around her relationship with her husband Apollo Nida, a convicted non-violent offender who spent five years in prison for racketeering. In January 2014, Apollo found himself in hot water (again) when he was charged with bank fraud and identity theft. He allegedly created fake companies, enabling him to access databases to find individuals to rip off. He also allegedly opened fake bank accounts under those individuals’ real names, and funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into those accounts. How this will affect Phaedra and her career is yet to be revealed.
