The View is trading one blonde for another! Fresh off the departure of Elisabeth Hasselbeck, head honcho Barbara Walters confirmed July 15 that Jenny McCarthy — who has served as a guest co-host on 17 separate occasions — will officially be joining the ABC talk show this fall as a permanent co-host.
Jenny McCarthy is about to spice things up at ABC’s The View! The 40-year-old comedian is reportedly “in talks” to join the show in August. She’s been a guest co-host on the show several times, and it appears her outspoken ways could earn her a permanent seat next to Whoppi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Sherri Shepherd.
Jenny McCarthy has now hopped on the Amanda Bynes crazy town train, even though she might not have meant to. The comedian tweeted on May 1 that she was happy that the NYPD were at Amanda’s home, because “she needs help.” Now Amanda has taken to Twitter to dismiss this and slam Jenny!
Breaking up is hard to do, but it’s even harder when there are children involved — just ask Jenny McCarthy! The former Playboy model, 39, recently revealed that Jim Carrey, her ex of five years, is refusing to have any contact with her 10-year-old son, Evan. Though Jim may have his reasons for staying away, a child psychiatrist tells HollywoodLife.com that he needs to man up and visit the boy!
Jenny McCarthy has been busy on the press circuit, promoting her new reality show and consequently discussing her divorce from Peter Facinelli — a topic body language expert Linda Talley thinks makes the actress very uncomfortable, especially after watching her interview on The Ellen Show.
Jenny McCarthy juggles work, dating and mommy time with her 9-year-old son, Evan Joseph Asher, but she said it’s “really hard.” It takes a lot of flying around and a lot of time management — that’s why she needs to break it up!
