After getting kicked off the academic decathlon team, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) went fifty shades of cray on the Feb. 12 episode of Pretty Little Liars — and just like the book, she had a parade of beefy dudes telling her what to do! First came hot-nerd Andrew (Brandon Jones), who is built like a blessed mountain, followed by Dr. Wren (Julian Morris), who prescribed her 50 cc’s of romantic dinner.
When Pretty Little Liars returns Jan. 8, Aria (Lucy Hale) will be up to her “A” in Ezra (Ian Harding) drama, and she turns to an unlikely source for support: Ezra’s little brother Wesley (Gregg Sulkin)! “He and I have a few episodes together,” Lucy told HollywoodLife.com at the kick-off for Duracell’s Power Holiday Smiles event in NYC. “Love me some Gregg Sulkin, he’s great. And he’s there for Aria in a way that Ezra definitely can’t be there for her.”
It’s true: The Russos are coming back! Disney Channel has confirmed that Selena Gomez will star in and executive produce a second Wizards of Waverly Place movie, which will reunite Selena with most of her former castmates — Gregg Sulkin, Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, David Deluise and Maria Canals-Barrera — for the first time since the show’s Jan. 2012 series finale. David Henrie, who played Selena’s on-screen brother Justin, will not appear in the movie.
After four successful seasons, Wizards of Waverly Place is all wrapped and done. However, it still could go out with even more of a bang! The popular Disney Channel show was nominated for two 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards — Outstanding Children’s Program and Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-camera Series — and HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively with co-stars Gregg Sulkin and Maria Canals Barrera to get their first reactions to the exciting news!
Becoming a famous actor was never something 18-year-old Gregg Sulkin ever thought of growing up — he was set on playing soccer and living a normal life in his hometown of London England. When a severe soccer injury sidelined Gregg for a year, he was forced to find a new outlet for expression and creativity and almost as if by magic, he fell in love with acting! Gregg recently opened up to Teen Vogue about his crazy success and why it makes his mother cry!
After Gregg Sulkin guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place as Selena Gomez‘s boyfriend, ratings soared and he quickly became a series regular. Now, with the fourth season about to premiere and the Disney channel film, Avalon High, coming out this fall, the adorable British actor is on the quick track to becoming one of Hollywood’s leading men. HollywoodLife.com chatted exclusively with the budding star and learned all about his likes, dislikes and his dream girl!
