Sometimes New Year’s Eve doesn’t live up to all the hype, but that wasn’t the case this year. Whether it was Miley Cyrus twerking in Times Square, or Mariah Carey belting out the final notes of 2013, the biggest stars really helped us ring in 2014 with a bang.
What better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve than to belt out, “Baby you a song/You make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise?” Florida Georgia Line‘s country opus was one of the biggest songs of the year in 2013, and as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the boys busted out another hit — “Round Here” to ring in 2014.
If Florida Georgia Line wrote me a love song, yes, it would make me want to stay — and we’re sure the crowd at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas totally agreed. The men performed “Stay,” at the 4th annual American Country Awards, and it was exploding with excitement — literally!
Taylor Swift always jumps out of her seat to dance along to her favorite tunes, and the awesome performances at the 2013 CMA Awards. Taylor bust (quite a few) moves at the Nov. 6 event in Nashville, Tenn. — including cruising along to Florida Georgia Line‘s CMA Award-winning single, “Cruise.”
Florida Georgia Line topped the charts last summer with “Cruise,” and the duo brought it back this summer with a remix — and a little help from rapper Nelly. In the group’s first performance on the CMT Music Awards stage June 5, FGL was joined by Nelly for one electrifying, high-energy performance to close the show!
