Jason Brow

Music Editor

Music is the best, and Jason Brow can attest to that. Ever since he heard his first favorite song on the radio in his parents’ car, Jason has been a lifelong music lover, and he brings that appreciation, along with seemingly endless knowledge, to the role of HollywoodLife’s Music Editor. He oversees the site's coverage of the music world, working on a wide range of editorial initiatives that include new music releases, premieres, in-depth features, and exclusive interviews. Since taking on the role, Jason has expanded the vertical to include more features. He has also interviewed such stars as Megan Thee Stallion, Dolly Parton, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, E-40, Gerald Casale of DEVO, GAYLE, Dave Wyndorf of Monster Magnet, Alaska 5000, CeeLo Green, Julia Michaels, and bands like SurfBort, BLACKSTARKIDS, Kitten, and The Darkness. He has also overseen the expansion of HollywoodLife’s music coverage to reflect more inclusive and diverse perspectives. Jason also assists in the daily coverage of news and entertainment stories, including the latest celebrity developments, political drama, and sports events. He has also had in-depth conversations with stars like Cheech Marin, Freddie Prinze Jr., Chris Jericho, and Bruce Campbell. Music has been a constant influence on his work. He covered record reviews and concert performances while obtaining his undergraduate at SUNY Plattsburgh and Master’s Degree at Southern Connecticut State University. While freelancing for Metromix, TruTV, WetPaint, and In Your Speakers, Jason wrote about music from all angles. He has also contributed to the audio landscape as a podcast producer, voice talent, and occasional guest.
