ME Cabo Resort Impresses With $10 Million Renovation: Inside the Hotel’s Premium Upgrades

The resort sits right across from the famous Arch in Los Cabos and offers a premium guest experience.

Whether you’re looking to book a trip to Mexico for a fun family vacation, romantic couples’ getaway or even a lively bachelorette trip, ME Cabo is a great destination in the heart of Cabo San Lucas.

Located on Los Cabos’ only swimmable beach and overlooking the famous “El Arco” (“The Arch”), the resort recently underwent a $10 million transformation with a completely new look – everything has been upgraded, from guest rooms and public spaces, to food and beverage menus, complete with a brand new rooftop bar and lounge.

“The new ME Cabo has so much to discover, from the design to the cultural programming and the amazing new culinary concepts,” General Manager Luis Dominguez says. “ME Cabo is back and is once again the heartbeat of Cabo San Lucas.”

Designed by Alvaro Sans, the hotel’s new design is bolder and more contemporary with inspiration from local Mexican art – featuring warm, earthy and natural tones mixed with touches of turquoise and ivory that perfectly complement the amazing ocean views from around the resort.

Accommodations

All 170 guest rooms have been remodeled to embrace a traditional Mexican design. They range from 425 to 3,000 square feet and feature a private, furnished balcony or terrace with garden or ocean views, rainfall showers, a fully stocked Maxibar, integrated room technologies and bath amenities by C.O. Bigelow.

Guests who are looking for a more personalized, premium experience can reserve a ME+ suite, which includes access to the highest suite categories, a personalized room escort, private, in-room check-in and an arrival cocktail, and extra in-room amenities, including an interactive HD TV and Bluetooth sound bar, a complimentary Bali bed at Taboo Beach Club each day of the stay, and personalized services from ME Cabo’s Aura team.

Food

ME Cabo has partnered with popular Mexican restaurant group Grupo Rosa Nega to debut four new restaurants: Confessions Skybar & Tapas, Taboo Beach Club & Restaurant, Funky Geisha, and Mamazzita Mexican Soul. The new culinary concepts are focused on serving locally-sourced produce and ingredients that explore Latin American cuisine.

Confessions Skybar & Tapas is the newly built rooftop bar and lounge featuring a tapas-style menu, creative mixology and nightly entertainment with stunning views, while ME Cabo’s signature restaurant, Mamazzita – open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – is an open-air restaurant that takes inspiration from the flavors and colors of Mexican culture.

Funky Geisha is a reinvented lobby lounge right on the sand, which is open for lunch and dinner, and serves Thai, Chinese and Japanese-inspired cuisine in a more casual beach setting. Meanwhile, if you’re relaxing poolside, you can order from Taboo Beach Club, which is also open for dinner where things get pretty lively!

Spa

ME Cabo also introduced a newly updated spa and wellness experience, offering beauty treatments, relaxation techniques and state-of-the-art fitness facility. Innovative techniques by Sothys include the “CBD Detox Massage” featuring CBD oil designed to improve lymphatic and blood circulation, and relieve tension and pain, among other amazing treatments.
