Aeko Catori Brown is getting cuter by the day! Ammika Harris and Chris Brown‘s son, who celebrated his first birthday on November 20, resembles his superstar dad in an adorable new Instagram photo (SEEN HERE). The little one is pictured playing with his toys while dressed in a PatPat outfit, which included a beige-colored ribbed sweater and matching pants. The photo, which was shared by Ammika, was an ad for the celebrity-mom-approved kids brand.
Aeko, whose dirty blonde hair contained little curls, was all smiles in the sweet snap. His one tiny top tooth can be seen poking out of his gums. A friend of Ammika’s took notice of Aeko’s tooth in the comments, to which the model replied, “The tooth,” with two heart eyes emojis. “Omg he’s so perf,” the proud mom added about her son. She captioned the post with, “Excited for 2021!”
Ammika’s latest upload came ahead of her New Year’s Eve celebrations, which she documented on Instagram Stories. She enjoyed cocktails with two of her girlfriends and looked stunning in an open-back metallic dress. While Chris was nowhere to be found in the party snaps, it’s unclear if the pair rang in the new year together.
Back in October, Ammika and Chris jetted off to Mexico for a family vacation, where the trio (including their son) enjoyed some quality time in the sand and sun. At the time, the model shared a number of photos to her Instagram, some of which included Aeko playing on the beach, as well as Ammika’s post-baby-body in solo bikini photos.
The family trip marked the first time Chris reunited with his son and Ammika after they were separated earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ammika and her son had traveled overseas to visit her family in Germany when lockdown occurred. Meanwhile, Chris remained in the United States. Despite being apart, a source told HollywoodLife at the time that Chris was in contact with Ammika and their son on a daily basis, via phone and video.
After Ammika and Chris welcomed their first child in November 2019, they kept their son’s birth a secret until weeks after he entered the world. It’s unclear if the on-off couple are back together, or if they’re amicably co-parenting. Just days after they celebrated Aeko’s first birthday, a source told HollywoodLife that “Chris and Ammika haven’t put an official label on where things stand with them right now because they’re still trying to figure out what their next move is.” Chris is also dad to daughter Royalty Brown, 6, from a previous relationship with Nia Guzman.
