Have things gotten that serious for Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin? The 37-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and Amelia, 19, were seen touring some multimillion-dollar homes in Holmby Hills, a wealthy neighborhood in Los Angeles’ Westwood district, earlier in December. The couple spent some time viewing four different estates. However, before anyone buys them a plant, a toaster, or whatever passes for a housewarming gift these days, this visit was strictly business. “Scott invited Amelia to check out a few real estate investment properties with her,” a source tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “This wasn’t a date or even a romantic outing, but they’re obviously still hanging out and talking.”
“Amelia has shown some interest and seemed eager to learn about investing,” the insider tells HollywoodLife, “and Scott explained why it’s such a smart way to add another stream of income to your portfolio. When she found out he was going to look at a few locations in Westwood, he asked if she wanted to tag along, and she seemed thrilled to join him.” Scott and Amelia checked out a $78 million home on South Mapleton Drive before looking at a $115 million mansion in Owlwood Estate.
As to why Scott – whose passion for real estate was captured in the KUWTK spin-off, Flip It Like Disick – was looking for a new home, it isn’t because he was looking to relocate, according to the source. “Scott loves his Calabasas home,” says the insider, “because it’s perfect for his everyday needs. Plus, it’s close to [Kourtney Kardashian] and the kids. But, he’s not completely closed off to the idea of relocating if something really stood out. Scott has a passion for real estate investing and learned a lot of what he knows from his grandfather, who developed several luxury resorts in the past.”
Scott and Amelia have been romantically linked since they were spotted at the same Halloween party nearly two months ago. Since then, speculation of a romance between Scott and the teenage Amelia has only escalated. Recently, Scott added fuel to these romance rumors by seemingly flirting with her on Instagram. The daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin posted a picture of her, adding, “Almost 2021 lookin like…” Scott responded with, “8 to a 12 real quick,” and Amelia replied, “5 to 20.”
Amid the buzz that she was dating Scott, Amelia posted a cryptic message to her Instagram Story on Dec. 19. “[People] are extra weird and judgmental these days. People can embrace themselves however they feel fit for them in that moment in time. People grow. People learn to love themselves more and more.”
