Keo Motsepe, 31, & new girlfriend Chrishell Stause, 39, met while competing against one another on Dancing with the Stars’ 29th season — and things turned romantic shortly after. Their hot new romance appears to be going well that Keo was even invited to spend Christmas with her family in Kentucky. “It’s just clicking,” a source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “And it’s natural and effortless on both of their parts,” they added of the couple.
The duo confirmed their romance on Instagram in early December after reports surfaced they were dating. This seemed to be a huge deal for the Selling Sunset star after her public divorce from ex, This Is Us star Justin Hartley, 43. Chrishell and Justin’s split was covered on season 3 of the Netflix reality show. The former soap stars spent four years dating before they tied the knot in Oct. 2017 only to split in 2019. Justin filed paperwork in November of that year citing “irreconcilable differences,” and Chrishell claims she was notified of the divorce via text, seemingly blindsided by the whole ordeal.
This wouldn’t be the first time Keo and Chrishell traveled for love, either. After spending a few days at LeBlanc Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with Keo’s BFF and Chrishell’s dancing partner, Gleb Savchenko, 37, and Cassie Scerbo, 30, spending the holidays together was already in the works. “Keo and Chrishell had been planning on spending the holidays together,” the source added. “She asked him to join her at her family’s for Christmas a few weeks ago and they’ll be spending New Year’s together too. It was an easy decision for both of them to do this and they both have been looking forward to Keo meeting her family.”
But it’s the way Keo treats Chrishell that seems to be doing it for her this time around as her broken heart is on the mend. “He showers her with so much love and affection and is such a gentleman to her,” the source continued. “He’s very kind and nurturing and seems to be just what she needed after her divorce.”
Now that Keo’s officially met the family, things seem to be continuing to progress for these two and we can’t wait to see where this ballroom romance goes! “Things are going really well between them and progressing, our source said. “They have gotten pretty serious pretty quickly but they both seem to be OK with that.”
Chrishell also posted a photo of Keo at home with her family, with everyone matching in cozy holiday PJs! “Introduced @keo_motsepe to the fam. He fit right in … Merry Christmas everyone from mine to yours!!! Sending you all so much love,” the reality star and actress wrote, also addressing those who may have been critical over her family gathering. “I normally always try to be socially responsible with my posts because I am naturally a compassionate person….This is my immediate family and we all are able to test before and after. This is the first Christmas without our mom we felt important to be there for each other in a tough year,” she wrote, adding, “Keo brought such welcomed happiness and selfishly I posted in a very happy moment.
