Kailyn Lowry, 28, and Chris Lopez, 26, seemed to indirectly call each other out about Christmas gifts for their kids on Instagram on Dec. 24. The Teen Mom 2 star and the father of her two children, Lux, 3, and four-month-old Creed, are known for having an up and down relationship, including a custody dispute over their kids, and their latest messages appeared to reflect that. It all started when Kailyn took to her story to give her followers a “PSA” about how she’s not accepting gifts for her children from certain people.
“PSA: I will not accept gifts for my kids from anyone who doesn’t have a relationship with them all year long. RETURN TO SENDER,” the message read. “family, old friends, etc. I am not going to explain why you are not around but can send gifts. Save your money.”
Once the post was shared, Chris was quick to post to his own story and his messages seemed to be a response to Kailyn’s. “Guess we not allowed to send gifts,” he wrote along with a two laughing emojis and a shrugging emoji. “y’all still my dawgs.”
He followed the message up with another one that read, “Bruh get over yourself smh,” with an added laughing emoji. “not a good look mr grinch,” he went on to conclude along with two other laughing emojis and a skeleton head emoji.
Although it’s not entirely clear whether or not Chris tried giving Christmas presents to his kids, the posts seem to definitely indicate that Kailyn may not accept them if he did. The blonde beauty, who was given sole custody of her kids, has slammed him in the past for not being dedicated to their oldest child, Lux, and also claimed that he “barely saw” Creed after he was born. She was also arrested for allegedly punching Chris during a an argument over Lux’s haircut in Oct.
Her rep went on to deny the allegations but neither Kailyn or Chris, who can be seen at a previous event in the pic above, aren’t allowed to talk publicly about their domestic matters while going through their custody dispute. Here’s to hoping these two can figure out a solution soon!
