Kristin Cavallari & ‘Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll Address Dating Speculation After Raising Eyebrows In Nashville

Kristin Cavallari, 33, seems to want her Instagram followers to know that she’s just “friends’ with Austen Kroll, 33. The former Laguna Beach star posted a boomerang photo of herself sitting in front of a wreath on Dec. 14 and appeared to use the caption to address the dating speculation she and the Southern Charm star have sparked over the past few weeks. “I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys,” she wrote in black text over the animated pic, which showed her rolling her eyes while wearing a green sweatshirt with a multi-colored design.

Kristin’s message comes after she and Austen enjoyed a group dinner together with friends, including his co-star Craig Conover and celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson, in Nashville on Dec. 13. Justin shared an Instagram snapshot, which can be seen below, that showed the good-looking group smiling and posing while sitting at their dinner table. He also went live on the social media platform more than once and showed off the group’s dance moves, as they all got their groove on to Taylor Swift‘s “Mean”.

In the live videos, Kristin and Austen looked like they were having a great time and the blonde beauty even ended up sitting on the hunk’s shoulders at one point. Since the live got a lot of attention shortly after, Justin apologized for it in the caption he wrote for the dinner pic. “my apologies for the instagram lives last night. new rule: my phone should be locked up when i drink 🥂 this 2020 friendship is one for the books ♥️,” the caption read.

The dinner and dance party weren’t the only things that caused followers to think twice about Kristin and Austen’s status. Austen also recently commented on one of Kristin’s bikini pics by the pool. “See you next week!” he wrote. “Keep breaking the Internet in the meantime.”

Although neither Kristin, who separated from her husband Jay Cutler, 37, earlier this year, nor Austen have directly confirmed or denied a romance at this point, Austen did speak out about their recent hangouts when he spoke to Us Weekly last month. “She came to town with her friend Justin and the four of us had dinner,” he told the outlet. “We’ve all been in contact ever since. We’re in this, like, big old group chat, and the group chat is active. We had a blast with them.”

Before Kristin was being romantically linked to Austen, she was sparking dating rumors with comedian Jeff Dye. The two were previously spotted kissing in a bar and also showed off more PDA during a trip to Cabo San Lucas earlier this month.
