Tarek El Moussa isn’t a fan of fiancée Heather Rae Young‘s Selling Sunset co-star, Christine Quinn. The Flipping 101 star, 39, brought up the real estate agent during the December 8 episode of Dear Media’s Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast when host Amanda Hirsch asked if there were any fellow Selling Sunset ladies not invited to their upcoming wedding. While Heather tried to keep the peace and not name any names, Tarek did not hold back.
“Christine has a big mouth,” he added. “She said some sh*tty things about us. And that’s about it. We’re not really interested in dealing with her nonsense.” Tarek was likely referring to a July interview Christine gave to Page Six, in which she called the couple “Speidi” — a reference to infamous The Hills couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
“It’s really funny to see Heather’s relationship play out because her and her boyfriend have such an interesting dynamic,” Christine said, teasing drama between herself and Heather during Selling Sunset‘s third season. “I call them ‘Speidi’ all the time because it’s like articles all the time about baking cookies, you know, watching movies. It’s ridiculous, so you know, you’re going to see the girls and I just get so tired of it.”
Tarek wasn’t laughing. “Listen, just because she’s never been famous before and she doesn’t know how it works, she doesn’t have to talk,” he shot back on Not Skinny but Not Fat. “It just makes her look stupid. So, she was trying to claim that, you know, we’re out there calling paparazzi on ourselves. I’m sorry. I’ve been on TV for 10 years.” Well.
Remarks aside, Tarek isn’t letting the comments get to him. He’s too happy! The reality star recently posted a photo of himself and his gorgeous fiancée to Instagram showing them buying furniture for their home. “I don’t know… I’m just so excited about life!!” he adorably captioned the post.
