Chelsea Houska is about to become a mom for the fourth time, and her anticipation is growing by the day! The soon to be former Teen Mom 2 star is updating fans on her adorable growing baby bump via a new Instagram story. The 29-year-old shared a boomarang video on Dec. 1 where the mama to be was relaxing on her brown leather sofa at home, wearing comfy grey sweatpants and letting her bare bump breathe.
Chelsea could be seen wearing a cozy looking brown faux-fur robe that appeared perfect for lounging around the house on a cold winter’s night in South Dakota. The camera panned up to show that she had her red locks pulled up in a messy bun atop her head, while blowing a kiss to fans. Her left hand held her robe above her bare bump, and she wrote “baby girl” with little exclamations around it on top of her belly.
Chelsea and husband Cole DeBoer simultaneously announced the latest addition to their family in Aug. 5 Instagram posts. They each shared a photo that showed their names and those of their children written on one of the beams of their dream house, which has been under construction since April 2020. It read, “Chelsea, Cole” and their children’s names: Aubree, 11, Watson, 3, and Layne, 2. Underneath youngest child Layne’s name was “baby” and a heart drawn underneath. What a beautiful way to announce their pregnancy!
Chelsea noted, “One more DeBoer! Coming early 2021,” as her caption, but Cole hinted that they weren’t 100 percent done with the idea of expanding their family. He wrote for his caption, “The Grand Finale! (We Think) Baby #4.” Two days later on Aug. 7, the pair shared their gender reveal, with confetti popper containers blowing pink paper into the air, meaning they’re expecting a little girl.
Unlike when daughter Layne was born on Aug. 29, 2018, there won’t be MTV cameras around this time as Chelsea heads to the hospital, goes into labor and welcomes her new daughter in early 2021. After 10 years, she’s decided to move on from Teen Mom 2, as she and Cole are developing their brand…and being quite successful at it in everything from home decoration, to eyewear collections, baby accessories and even flannel clothing (Cole is rugged model handsome after all!). With their adoring marriage and beautiful family, Chelsea and Cole have grown a number of organic fans who know them outside of MTV.
Chelsea confirmed on Nov. 10 that the current season of Teen Mom 2 which she and her family are appearing on is their last. She thanked her MTV crew, and wrote in an Instagram post, “We’re proud to have been able to share our story and are so grateful to the fans who have followed our journey from the beginning. Our next chapter in life will focus on developing our brand and taking things to the next level with new endeavors and expanding family businesses. Please tune into our last moments on the show and continue to follow along our journey on social media. We are so excited for this next phase of our lives and hope you all will be a part of it in some way!”
