After winning the coveted mirrorball trophy on season 29 of Dancing With The Stars, Kaitlyn Bristowe might already be planning for her and boyfriend Jason Tartick‘s future! The former Bachelorette star spoke to members of the press, including HollywoodLife, following her and professional partner Artem Chigvintsev‘s incredible win, and Kaitlyn confessed that Artem’s love of newfound parenthood may have rubbed off on her. “I can’t wait to go home and for what is next, oh gosh,” Kaitlyn shared.
“I joked that I want babies as soon as I was done with this,” she revealed. “I am ready for the next step and Artem gave me baby fever and I am not against it,” Kaitlyn further explained. Artem totally agreed with Kaitlyn, sharing that becoming a father is “the best thing that has ever happened!” As for Kaitlyn, she “can’t wait” for what the future holds for her and her love.
Kaitlyn’s journey to find love has been slightly less conventional than Artem’s. Kaitlyn started out as the season 11 lead of The Bachelorette on ABC. Her season was full of drama, but by the end, she said ‘yes’ to a proposal from Shawn Booth. The couple remained engaged from 2015-2018, before they decided to go their separate ways. But that wasn’t the end of Kaitlyn’s journey.
As it would happen, Kaitlyn found love with Bachelor Nation member Jason Tartick, who memorably appeared on Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette. The two have been so supportive of one another throughout their relationship, and that was so evident by Jason’s own reaction to seeing his stunning partner win DWTS after vying to be on the show for years! Jason and Kaitlyn share a home with their Golden Retrievers in Nashville. Now that DWTS is over, fans cannot wait to see what’s next for Kaitlyn and Jason!
