Rob Kardashian, 33, is looking better than ever! The Arthur George founder joined sister Kim Kardashian‘s lavish 40th birthday trip to a private Polynesian resort just weeks ago, and appeared to be in good spirits in a video posted by the SKIMS CEO. Titled “Birthday Vlog,” Kim shared the six-minute clip of edited moments from the vacation, with appearances by the KarJenner gang and BFFs like Lala Anthony. We couldn’t get over how good Rob looks since his dramatic weight loss!
The group spent their time on the island partying and relaxing, as well as soaking up the sights with various activities — including whale watching! “Alright so we are whale watching…my brother Rob, Kendall — we’re ready. We’re all going to get in and we’re excited,” Kim said in the selfie-filmed video on a yacht. The turquoise blue water looked so dreamy in the clip, and the KKW Beauty founder looked better than ever in a ’90s inspired zip bikini. Sitting next to sister Kendall, 25, Rob was beaming as he chilled on the boat prior to getting in the water.
BFF Lala, however, hilariously interjected to explain that they weren’t whale watching but actually swimming with them. “So we are about to swim with whales — so we’re getting in the water with humpback whales, this is like a once in a life time s— right here,” she said to the camera. Kim also offered the group some key advice in the event they come across a shark. “It’s crazy that there could be a shark right here…And remember guys, if you see one punch it in the nose and the eyes. I saw this on shark week,” she hilariously informed everyone.
The KarJenner clan have been posting up a storm since the big birthday bash, which included the surprise of a lifetime from Kim’s husband Kanye West, 43. The “Yeezy” designer put together an incredibly emotional hologram video of Kim’s late dad Robert Kardashian Sr. wishing his second-eldest daughter a happy birthday. “Happy birthday, Kimberly. Look at you, you’re 40 and all grown up. You look beautiful just like when you were a little girl. I watch over you and your sisters and your brother and the kids every day. Sometimes I drop hints that I’m around,” the former lawyer, who passed in 2003, said in the hologram video.
While the birthday trip was the ultimate celebration for Kim, it hasn’t been without controversy: the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star faced backlash following her posts due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Sister Khloe Kardashian, 36, late came to Kim’s defense on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “This year is a frustrating year, I get it,” Khloe said. “There’s so many frustrations for everybody, but also….this is her 40th. And this is something she really wanted to do for us. And being there with all the precautions we took and how grateful everyone was for the tourism aspect of it….so many people said we were their first party or guests that they’ve had in months and it’s helped them pay their bills and do stuff for their families,” she added.
