50 Cent just came at Floyd Mayweather for his style, and compared his latest outfit to a look Mary J. Blige once wore! The rapper posted a side by side photo of the boxer and singer, calling Mayweather a ‘jockey’! You’ve got to see this!
First of all, Mary J. Blige did not ask to be part of this narrative. But, when it comes to 50 Cent and social media — anyone is fair game. And, this week’s diss by 50 went to pro boxer, Floyd Mayweather. The rapper, 43, took to Instagram on February 11, where he randomly posted a side-by-side photo of Blige, 48, and Mayweather, 41, who were dressed in similar outfits at different events.
“I think Mary rocked this better, Champ look like a f–king jockey,” 50 captioned the photo, which was initially posted by The Shade Room. 50, whose post came out of nowhere, despite his years-long feud with Mayweather — also featured an eyeball and laughing face emojis, along with a champagne bottle. “Just stole Mary whole drip LOL,” 50 wrote in the comments of his post. Rapper Kid Ink, 32, even wrote, “Bro!”
In the comparison photo, Blige had on black pants with a red leather jacket and matching boots. Meanwhile, next to her was Mayweather, who had on a similar outfit, which featured black pants with a red leather jacket and matching boots. The only difference between their looks were minor things, including, her jewelry, and details on both jackets and boots. To be fair, the similarities between their looks, appeared to potentially outweigh the differences. But hey, both Blige and Mayweather looked great.
While Mayweather has yet to reply to 50’s latest diss, it’s likely he will come back with a swift comment. The two have a long, tumultuous history of being the ultimate “frenemies.”
At first, the two bonded over their love for money in 2007, and even appeared on the cover of XXL together back in 2011 — the same year they launched a film company together. 50 even walked Mayweather into the ring when the boxer took on Oscar De La Hoya in May 2007. The rapper also accompanied Mayweather to Wrestlemania in 2008.
The two were friends for years, before rumors of a rift between them began to swirl in 2012. Then, a feud between the two seemed even more evident when 50 teamed up with Floyd’s rival, Manny Pacquiao, 40, to start a boxing promotion company that same year in September. Soon after, 50 and Mayweather shared their first Twitter disses at one another in November. And, they’ve been known to throw social media jabs at each other ever since. Hence, 50’s latest diss!
