My, how time flies! It seems like just yesterday that a young Angelina Jolie was adopting her first child, Maddox. And now, her son is a 19-year-old college sophomore with five adoring younger siblings. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of seeing Angelina and ex-husband Brad Pitt‘s six children grow up, but it’s still hard to believe how old they really all are now! Take a look at how the Jolie-Pitt kids have changed over the years:
Maddox Jolie-Pitt
Angelina and Brad’s eldest child is now a full-blown adult. Where did the time go? Maddox, 19, is currently a student at Yonsei University in South Korea, where he is studying biochemistry, Korean, and Russian. The talented college sophomore is unfortunately stuck at home in Los Angeles during the pandemic after campus closed (and travel from the US was suspended), but he’s taken the opportunity to bond with his siblings and help with their home schooling. After a tumultuous few years, he and Brad have mended their father-son relationship.
Angelina and Brad’s volatile split happened after the he and Maddox reportedly got into a physical altercation aboard the family’s private jet. Brad was cleared of all wrongdoing, but his relationship with his son was still damaged. They’ve seemingly made peace, though. Brad even skipped the 2020 BAFTAs to spend time with his son during a school break!
Pax Jolie-Pitt
Pax Jolie-Pitt, 17, is holding down the fort at home as the eldest son while Maddox is at college in South Korea. The high schooler is perhaps the most private of the Jolie-Pitt kids, rarely stepping out in public with his famous family — though he does attend mom Angelina’s red carpet premieres with them, of course! He and Angelina have a close relationship. The mother-son duo were spotted over the summer having a nice dinner together at A.O.C. restaurant in Los Angeles, just the two of them.
Zahara Jolie-Pitt
Zahara Jolie-Pitt is now 15 years old and quite the accomplished young woman. Her mother recently gushed about her in an interview with Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate for TIME. Angelina told Vanessa that she was “in awe” of her daughter and her “connection” to Africa; Angelina adopted Zahara from Ethiopia when she was six months old. “I have learned so much from her. She is my family, but she is an extraordinary African woman,” Angelina said. Zahara is incredibly close with her younger sister, Shiloh, and they even share the same friends — like Millie Bobby Brown.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is now 14 years old. No, really! It seemed like just yesterday that the world absolutely freaked out upon the news that Angelina and Brad were expecting their first biological child. Now, Shiloh’s a confident and stylish teenager who marches to the beat of her own drummer. Shiloh’s not about girly clothes, frequently dressing in basketball shorts (like her fave Versace pair), sneakers, and t-shirts. She and older sister Zahara have an extremely close bond. Just one year apart, the sisters often hang out with the same friends, and go on fun shopping trips in Hollywood with their pals and mom Angelina.
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is already 12 years old! Brad and Angelina’s twin daughter is the spitting image of the Maleficent star…. and actually a Maleficent star herself. Vivienne played the baby version of Aurora because she didn’t cry at her mom’s spooky makeup! Now a preteen, Vivienne is a huge animal lover who is frequently seen hitting pet stores in Los Angeles with Angelina to pick up food and supplies for her furry friends.
Knox Jolie-Pitt
Just like his twin sister Vivienne is a total clone of their mother, Knox Jolie-Pitt is the younger version of his father. The 12-year-old, much like his sister, is an animal lover. Actress Sarah Ramos revealed that she once saw Knox and Vivienne selling organic dog treats in a neighborhood park to raise money for Hope for Paws, a local LA animal rescue organization! Knox enjoys bonding with his mother, who frequently takes him on shopping trips with her around Los Angeles.
