A Victoria’s Secret model is synonymous with having a tight and toned body. Their strong muscles are serious workout inspiration for the summer ahead — copy their exact workouts below!
Victoria’s Secret models Jasmine Tookes and Josephine Skriver actually have their own Instagram dedicated to their workouts, and they have almost a quarter of a million followers! They do squats, lunges, ropes, and hip thrusts with a ton of weight, showing off their super strength on a daily basis! The girls work out at the NYC gym The Dogpound. Jasmine elaborated on her workout to the New York Post: “I try my best to work out about five days a week. On Mondays, I’ll do legs, Tuesday will be upper body, Wednesday is core/ab focused, Thursday is another leg day, and Fridays are about my butt.”
Josephine says her ideal week goes like this: “I box once, do a HITT [high-intensity interval training workout] once, and do weights three or four times. I train for an hour or two at a time. When I weight-train, I just target one or two areas, whether it’s arms, core, legs, or just butt.” She continues: “I think a lot of girls have the wrong idea about weights. For most people, it won’t make you look super broad like a bodybuilder, but it will make you tighter and toned.” She also says the dreaded Burpee is a power move. “Burpees will be the death of me. They’re very difficult, but great for you. It’s a love-hate relationship for sure.”
Stella Maxwell, who HollywoodLife.com recently worked out with at Ballet Beautiful in NYC, told the Post she also loves Yoga, specifically the Lotus pose and downward dog. She also loves jumping rope, which is a super effective workout also loved by the Kardashians and Michelle Obama! “I really love jump rope and headstands. I love jump rope because it’s a challenge to time yourself to see how long you can keep going. I love headstands because you get a natural high from being upside down. It’s a nice way to readjust your whole body.” Despite her busy schedule, she always makes time for something. “I travel a lot, so it’s hard to always fit in a workout. But I try to have just 10 moves I can do anywhere in 30 minutes to sneak it in.”
Lais Ribeiro says, “I love using resistance bands, focusing on abs, outer thighs, and glutes. I typically do three reps of 20, rotating between glute bridges with feet wide, clams with heels together, duck walks, side steps and jack squats. Jack squats make my booty and thighs looked supertoned.”
Although you can take inspiration from these workouts, Jasmine says it’s important to find out what works for you. “I do a lot of weight training, and this works great for me because I am lean and want to build muscle mass. Find what’s best for you and keep it up!” Lais adds, “Keep the balance between health and happiness — and also choose the exercises that you love most so it doesn’t seem so hard.”
