So heartbreaking. A new dramatic video from inside Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub, the night of the shooting that left 49 people dead, has been released, and it’s almost too hard to watch. There’s blood, there’s screaming, and the clip is extremely graphic.
A shocking new video posted by TMZ (and obtained by the Orlando Sentinel) shows the extreme horror that took place inside Pulse Nightclub the night of June 12, 2016, after a lone gunman slaughtered 49 people. The two-minute clip shows police entering the club through a broken window before they focus on the bathroom, where shooter Omar Mateen was holding club-goers hostage.
We must warn you, however. The video is extremely graphic and hard to watch. Especially because you can hear guns shooting and people screaming. It was likely police firing at Omar, as we now know he was eventually shot and killed. In fact, when his autopsy was released, it revealed that Omar was shot eight times.
As you’ll recall, Omar burst into the Orlando, Florida gay nightclub shortly after its 2am closing on June 12, 2016, opening fire on patrons who ran for cover in bathrooms and other places where they could hide, but Omar searched through the building for three hours, seeking out any hiding places and murdering his terrified victims. 49 people were killed in the massacre and another 100 wounded.
