Should Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus sing together at the One Love Manchester benefit concert on June 4? The Internet wants it to happen. Here’s why fans are begging for the two pop powerhouses to team up for a special song!
Ariana Grande, 23, and Miley Cyrus, 24, are both set to perform on June 4 at the major tribute to victims of the Manchester attack, and fans want nothing more than a special duet between the two. It’s all because someone unearthed a cover that Miley and Ariana did way back when for Miley’s Happy Hippie Backyard Sessions! Watch the video of them covering “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House in 2015 above, and tell us you don’t want this to happen, too.
Fans pointed out that it would be an amazing tribute to the victims of the tragic attack on May 22 if the two popstars were to perform the cover. “Please release this to raise money for #Manchester,” one fan replied to the clip, also suggesting that they record a studio version, “It’s so beautiful.” Another tweeted: “Imagine if Ariana and Miley performed ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ at the benefit concert on Sunday… A CONCEPT.” Yes, please make this a thing, because this cover is amazing and we’d love to see it performed live.
