We didn’t think Niall Horan could get any more perfect, but here we are. The former One Directioner performed a gorgeous acoustic rendition of his single ‘Slow Hands’ on ‘Elvis Duran and the Morning Show’ today, May 30, and fans are losing it over the never-before-heard version.
Niall Horan, 23, has stolen our hearts once again! He stopped by iHeartMedia’s Z100 for an interview and performance on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on May 30 and his acoustic rendition of “Slow Hands” is everything. The original is such a jam, but there’s something about this that has us truly under a spell. Studio version, please! Check out a clip of Niall playing the song above.
Niall looked adorable in a black jacket and shirt and fedora hat, and he poured his soul into the performance, closing his eyes as he crooned the lyrics to the sexy love song. Above all, it was just Niall on a stool with an acoustic guitar in his hands! Such a good look, and again, it proves Niall’s skills as a solo performer. Then again, we had no doubt!
Fans are understandably beside themselves at this new version of the track. “Confession: I sent two important phone calls straight to voicemail when @NiallOfficial performed on @elvisduran this AM,” one person tweeted. “Niall did an acoustic version of slow hands he did THAT,” another wrote. Others pointed out that he sounded like an angel, which is a hard claim to dispute. Again, we ask: where is the studio recording-slash-black-and-white-music-video?? We have needs.
Niall also told a cute story about how he and Harry Styles, 23, play golf together. “We’d be touring and there’d be thousands and thousands of people outside the hotel, so me and Harry used to just go and play golf! And obviously, people don’t want to be walking around a golf course with ya!” he said. Love it! Watch the clip below:
