Camila Cabello had her debut performance as a solo artist at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, and she not only sounded great, but she gave a majorly impressive show! Singing ‘Crying In The Club,’ the star showed off her crisp vocals alongside sexy dance moves, all while channeling an Egyptian goddess!
So fierce! Taking the stage for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards as a solo artist, Camila Cabello, 20, gave a memorable performance as she sang a few lines from her new song “I Have Questions” followed by a wild rendition of her hit “Crying In The Club.” With smoke appearing at her feet, the singer began her performance on a super emotional note as she belted out “I Have Questions.” Wearing a cape and highlighting her crisp vocals with the heartfelt lyrics, Camila had a dramatic spotlight on her body. But as soon as it was time for “Crying In The Club,” Camila ripped off her cape to reveal a sexy gold dress underneath her robe.
Looking like a true Egyptian princess, Camila was joined on stage by muscular men as she belted out her hit. Her backup dancers beat on drums as she sang, and they all danced in perfect unison during the show! But one of our favorite elements of the performance was the fire bursting from the stage — SO hot! Needless to say the crowd went wild during Camila’s debut performance, and we thought she couldn’t have done a better job of rocking it out! But if Camila’s performance wasn’t enough for you, the brunette beauty will be giving an encore performance AFTER the BBMAs via Comcast’s Xfinity X1, which will be broadcast live directly after the show.
During that performance, she’ll be singing her full single “I Have Questions.” How exciting is that? Camila wrote the emotional tune in a hotel bathroom on tour a little over a year ago. “I was completely broken during that time. I was in the kind of pain that’s uncomfortable to talk about,” the star said of that time. The former Fifth Harmony member is also nominated this year for Top Rap Collaboration for the hit song “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly.
