Liam Payne got maybe the only praise that matters for his new song ‘Strip That Down’. His girlfriend, Cheryl, couldn’t contain herself on Twitter after the single was released, gushing to all her fans about how incredible it is! She’s ‘so proud’ of the father of her baby!

Aww! Cheryl, 33, hopped on Twitter a couple hours after partner Liam Payne, 23, released his sexy new single on May 19, letting the world know how amazing the song is. We have to agree! “@LiamPayne  [heart]…and it is just the beginning. Hope you’re all enjoying #StripThatDown. So proud of you babe”, she tweeted, replying to Liam’s tweet announcing the song’s release. How sweet!

You know what’s frustrating — at least to us? Cheryl probably heard the fiery new track way before the rest of us did! “Strip That Down” is an ultra sexy jam that features Migos rapper Quavo, 26. It’s cool that Liam took a more hip hop route than his other One Direction bandmates. They’re all doing something completely different. But seriously, peep these lyrics from “Strip That Down”: Girl, yeah you’re bad for my health/Do you feel the same as well?/Girl, I love it when your body (grinds on me)/You know that the since the day I met you/Yeah, you swept me off my feet”. Insane, right?

The song isn’t the only new debut in Liam’s life. His and Cheryl’s baby boy, Bear Payne, was born on March 25! He’s totally in love with his newborn son, and obviously, Cheryl is too! He confessed to Virgin Radio UK’s Total Access, in an interview that will air in full on May 19 — the same day his single dropped — that he actually wasn’t totally on board with giving his son such an unusual name. But Cheryl had a very convincing reason to name him Bear: “Bear is a name that when you leave a room, you won’t forget,” he said in the interview. That’s definitely true!
