With her BFF Beyonce expecting twins any day now, has Kelly Rowland caught baby fever once again? Revealing her baby plans to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, Kelly dished that she’s definitely not finished having kids — but just how many more does she actually want? You may be surprised!
Kelly Rowland, 36, LOVES being a mom to her and her husband Tim Witherspoon‘s 2-year-old son Titan Jewell, and as it turns out, she’s ready to give her baby boy a sibling! Revealing to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that motherhood has made her “stronger,” the former Destiny’s Child singer even admitted how many more kids she wants. “I want one more,” she told us, while promoting her new partnership with Band-Aid Brand for their Stick With It campaign. “Having Titan made the bond I have with each of my loved ones even stronger.” Aw!
The star’s favorite part of watching her little boy grow up? “Talking and communicating has been the best,” Kelly gushed. “Being able to have conversations with my son [is great.]” Her hubby is also a super dedicated parent, and according to Kelly, he’s “the perfect amount of loving and stern.” How cute is THAT? We seriously can’t wait for the star to get pregnant again! In the mean time though, Kelly’s BFF Beyonce, 35, is expecting not one, but TWO bundles of joy within the next few weeks. And you better believe Kelly’s been helping her pal prepare for three-time motherhood.
But of course when it was Kelly’s turn to give birth, her famous friends had some powerful words of wisdom for HER. “My group of girlfriends was the perfect support system [when I was pregnant],” Kelly told us. “The best thing I heard was probably: take pictures because the moments go by so quickly! They grow so fast, too fast!” Hmm, we wonder if Beyonce, who’s already the proud mother of daughter Blue Ivy, 5, gave her that pearl of wisdom! Kelly made sure to explain though that she definitely doesn’t have all the answers when it comes to being a mom, which is why she wrote Whoa, Baby! — a book about having her first child.
“I want women to know they’re not alone! I’m not perfect, I’m still learning,” Kelly explained. “I felt as if I was the only one with a million questions after childbirth, and there were no materials that focused on moms specifically. After my OB-GYN assured me that way more moms have questions after childbirth than one would think, I decided, we’re writing a book! And so we did!” Pretty cool, right? It’s that same go-getter approach that made Kelly want to partner with Band-Aid Brand.
“The Stick With It campaign is all about resiliency and sticking with your passion,” the star said. “In those moments that knock you down, it’s more about how you get back up and how you persevere. Throughout my personal and professional career, I’ve had instances where I’ve had to find the courage to take risks and keep moving forward. I want to help motivate others because everyone knows that success doesn’t happen overnight.”
