The Nashville Predators are having their best NHL season ever, and they’ve gotten major support from country music celebrities throughout their playoff run. From Carrie Underwood to Luke Bryan and more, check out stars showing off their Preds pride here!
For the first time EVER, the Nashville Predators have made it to the Conference Finals in the NHL playoffs! This playoff season has been historic for the team, which formed in 1998, and there’s been no shortage of support from the city of Nashville — that includes a whole bunch of country stars. For home playoff games, the Preds have made a new tradition of surprising the audience with a country superstar to sing the National Anthem, and of course, they’ve all stayed for the games to cheer on the team.

It all started with the obvious choice, Carrie Underwood, in Round 1. After all, her husband, Mike Fisher, is the captain of the team, so it made sense when she belted out the Anthem to kick things off! Naturally, Carrie has been living it up in her suite for all home games, and blowing up social media with her support for the hockey team. “Pardon our craziness but we just won, won, won!!!” she captioned one video of a post-game celebration. Next, Luke Bryan, who also sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, took his turn on the mic, then watched the game with his pal (and HUGE Preds fan), Dierks Bentley.
Being able to perform the Anthem during Game 3 of the Conference Finals was HUGE for Keith Urban, as it was the first time he was EVER invited to sing America’s National Anthem at an event! Of course, he brought his wife, Nicole Kidman, along for the fun, and they cheered the team on from the stands after his performance.
