Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart and Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart ruled the WWE tag team scene as the Hart Foundation. Jim’s daughter and WWE Superstar Natalya Neidhart reveals EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com that when she reforms the team, she knows exactly whom she wants to be her ‘Hitman.’
Considered on of the greatest tag teams in pro-wrestling history, The Hart Foundation took the careers of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, 62, and Bret “The Hitman” Hart, 59, and made them Superstars. They left a huge legacy behind them, so hearing someone would want to reform the team is huge. Yet, if anyone can do it, it’s Natalya Neidhart, 34.
When asked if she would want to bring the Hart Foundation into the year 2017, the “Queen of Harts” (and Jim’s daughter) EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com one word: yes! “I have the perfect tag team partner picked out in mind,” she tells HollywoodLife.com. “Dolph Ziggler is the Bret Hart to my Jim Neidhart.”
WHOA. That’s a huge seal of approval from Natalya. Bret is considered one of the most technically proficient wrestlers to have every stepped foot into the ring and to be the “next Bret Hart” would be a huge honor (with a huge responsibility.)
However, Dolph, 36, is a 2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and 5-time Intercontinental Champion. “The Showoff” has also been a critically acclaimed wrestler, putting on incredible matches that have often stolen the show. No wonder Natalya would want him to help reform the Hart Foundation.
If the WWE allows intergender teams to compete, it would be great to see Dolph and Natalya compete for the SmackDown Tag Team championship. In the meantime, Natalya might focus herself on another famous daughter of a wrestling icon: Charlotte Flair! Charlotte, 31, recently switched brands from Raw to SmackDown, which has Natalya psyched.
“Charlotte better be ready for me to kick her ass,” Natalya tells HollywoodLife.com “I’m excited about her coming to SmackDown LIVE because I finally get to put her in her place! She better be ready, because I’m a lot more than she can handle. And she knows that. Welcome, Queen!”
Wow. Either seeing a reformed Hart Foundation battle such teams like American Alpha or The Usos for the title, or see (Neid)Hart vs. Flair to prove who’s the real “Queen” of the WWE? Either way would be awesome.
What do you think about Natalya’s pick for her Hart Foundation partner, HollywoodLifers? Do you want to see her and Dolph go for tag team gold?
