Our fave royal recycler is back at it again! Kate Middleton opted for a casual outfit for her farm visit, recycling her jacket, boots, jeans, and shirt. Did you love her familiar look?
Kate Middleton opted for a casual, comfortable outfit for her visit to Farms for City Children in Arlingham, Gloucester on May 3, where the stylish royal showed off affordable, attainable separates, stepping out in a Troy London wax parka in khaki, Zara biker pants, and Penelope Chivers boots — and it actually wasn’t the first time we saw her sport the items!
Kate debuted the $452 coat in Canada, onboard the Pacific Grace ship in October 2016 during her a royal tour with Prince William, where she paired it with dark blue jeans and wore her hair back. This time around, she styled her hair half-up, half-down and finished off the look with Zara jeans and a navy sweater, layering a checkered button-down Gap shirt underneath — a shirt she first sported in 2014 at a New Zealand winery, which she wore layered under a blazer. The boots have been in Kate’s wardrobe for 13 years — in fact, the first time we spotted them on the stylish royal was in 2004 at the Game Fair at Blenheim Palace. Kate also recycled her Zara biker pants after first wearing them for a visit to Kaziranga National Park in India in April 2016, when she styled them with a white button-down, polka-dot blouse.
While on the farm, Kate fed a lamb and talked to schoolchildren, telling them about the animals she has at home. Kate and Wills have a pet dog, Lupo, and their children, (Prince George and Prince Charlotte), have a hamster named Marvin. She also shared that they have five chickens, a lamp, and an incubator of eggs at home — Kate’s clearly quite familiar with farm life.
