Getting a spray tan can be intimidating if you have pale skin (like me and Behati Pinsloo), or if you’re wearing white, but it’s TOTALLY do-able in a pretty, natural way. Get expert tips for a perfect faux tan below.
Behati Prinsloo looked amazing showing off her post-baby body at the Met Gala in New York City on May 1.
Wearing a backless, cutout white gown, she was glowing thanks to a few key products and techniques.
Her makeup and skin was done by artist Carolina Gonzalez, who told us: “We wanted to create a very natural, yet glowing beauty look to complement Behati’s white dress and show off her raw beauty.”
Remember, stars don’t only wear makeup on their face on a red carpet — they wear it on their body — and you should, too!
While wearing a skimpy summer dress, you can give yourself an amazing glow by following the steps Carolina did on Behati.
“Use a tanning mitt to apply a layer of the St. Tropez One Night Only Finishing Gloss on shoulders, arms and décolletage — it will give the body a gorgeous, bronzy sheen that will reflect flawlessly in the light.”
After her makeup was complete, Carolina “contoured Behati’s face with the St. Tropez 3-in-1 Bronzing Powder for extra definition and glow. Using a powder brush, Carolina traced over the natural contours of Behati’s face, blending outwards on the hairline, jawline and cheeks, creating a healthy, sunkissed glow and sculpted look.”
