It’s been four years since ‘Jersey Shore’ ended, but you better get your tanning oil back out. Mike Sorrentino, AKA: The Situation, just revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that a call has been made for some sort of reunion.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is ready to return to the shore. Even though he technically lives on the beach in New Jersey, the reality star, 34, stopped at our HollywoodLife.com studio and had something very interesting to say about all those talks of some sort of Jersey Shore reunion. You can listen to the whole podcast for free on iTunes.
“I’m telling you that it’s more than rumors, meaning someone placed a phone call saying, ‘Can we make this happen?’” Mike told us before adding, “But they also have to follow through.” He also added that a network (MTV, where you at?) still had to “pull the trigger and make it happen.”
Just last week, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 31, Vinny Guadagnino, 29, and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, 30, all reunited in NYC and said that they would be down for something at the shore. “We always said that we would take a nice vacation with each other for like 10-14 days. Nothing more because we’d end up killing each other,” JWoww told E! News.
“And if we’re married or have kids, they’d have to be there because we can’t miss them! But no more than like 14 days because we’d probably go back to our old days. I’m old now, I can’t handle a hangover like I did.”
Mike would definitely be down to see all of the gang — which also includes Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Deena Nicole Cortese — admitting they’re all basically a family. He even revealed during our HollywoodLife podcast that he was invited to Sammi’s birthday bash in March but unfortunately couldn’t make it out.
Mike can be seen on the upcoming season of WEtv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars — Family Edition, premiering on April 28 at 9PM ET! HollywoodLifers, do you want to see a Jersey Shore reunion?
