Ashley Benson isn’t afraid to admit she gets zits like the rest of us — she posted her zit-cream covered face on Instagram. But she has another zit-zapping secret that’s under $10. Find out what it is below.
Getting pimples is no fun. But everyone gets them — even celebs like Ashley Benson. Ashley and other stars like Miley Cyrus are pretty open about it — they post selfies with their faces covered in zit cream on their Instagram pages. We love that they are relatable, but still, when we get a pimple, we want it gone fast.
Ashley has a quick and easy remedy that you can get at the drugstore!
Ashley recently told People on how she deals with zits on set:
“You just have to [trust] your makeup artists at that point. And it’s always the worst because when you’re on camera and you know that you have a pimple, you feel like everyone’s looking at it. I’ve learned to put eye drops on it and it takes the redness away.”
Ashley adds: “I’ve always been super open with posting pictures on Instagram or Snapchat with pimple cream everywhere, because I think it’s super cool to tell [fans], ‘Hey everybody goes through it.’ I don’t really wear makeup outside of work because my skin is super sensitive to it, so if I’m working 16 or 18 hours on the show or doing events or red carpets, it’s really harsh on my skin.”
Since she does wear heavy makeup frequently she relies on Differin gel, a new, over-the-counter acne treatment.
“Every time I’m working a lot, I tend to break out more, but this product has helped a lot.”
