Mel B appeared for the first since the the awful allegations that her husband Stephen Belafonte got their nanny pregnant in 2014. See what the former ‘Spice Girl’ was up to here!
Mel B, 41, was seen on her way to her lawyer’s office on Apr.5, according to TMZ. It was the first time she had been spotted since the terrible allegations against her soon-to-be-ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, 41, surfaced. He reportedly impregnated their nanny Lorraine Gilles, 26, in 2014 and ordered her to have an abortion, according to court documents. Mel also claimed Stephen choked her, punched her, and even forced her to perform sexual acts.
“[He] would degrade me in front of her by comparing me to Lorraine, telling me how much younger and better looking she was,” Mel reportedly said in court docs. She has filed a restraining order against Stephen and detailed the spousal abuse she suffered while married to him. “[He] immediately began setting Lorraine up as my rival. She answered to, and reported to [him]…I later discovered that [he] was having sex with Lorraine and was paying her inordinate amounts of money. Over the course of some three years, I recently learned that [he] paid Lorraine in excess of $300,000 for alleged nanny services.”
Mel B later fired Lorraine in 2015 and Stephen lost it. “He told me that Lorraine raised our children far better than I ever could. He told me that she was his ‘ride or die b*tch’ and the only woman in his life that completely had his back.” Mel learned that Stephen had paid for Lorraine’s abortion and hotel where she recuperated with the money Mel had earned. Lorraine’s sister claimed to know nothing of her sister’s relationship with Stephen when she spoke with The Daily Mail. “My sister and I are very, very close and I would have known about this, believe me,” she said. “I don’t know where this is coming from. She worked for the family for seven years and had nothing but positive experiences. She really loved those kids as if they were her own, so she stayed on much longer than she originally planned to.”
