Mama June lost 300 pounds thanks to a lifestyle overhaul — strict diet and exercise and gastric sleeve surgery to make her stomach smaller.

She told People exactly what she eats in a day:

Breakfast: Skips

Lunch: “I usually have a protein pack with slices of meat, cheese, and almonds.”

Afternoon Snack: “Grapes and cheese are my go-to. I walk by the refrigerator, get three or four grapes and then walk away.”

Dinner: “We eat chicken and beans plus whatever sides the girls want.” She watches portions, “so I don’t throw up.”

Drinks: She gave up soda three years ago — she “can’t stand the taste of it now.” She only drinks water and seltzer these days.

Cheat Foods: “Mexican, barbecue, and Little Debbie jelly-filled pies. They are heaven in a box.”

I’m not a nutritionist, but it seems like she needs more fruits and veggies, to eat a healthy breakfast (maybe some eggs?), and less cheese. Just my guess.

Portion control is VERY important when you have the gastric sleeve. “I have thrown up, because you can’t overeat with the gastric sleeve. When you do it that one time, you don’t do it again.”

To go along with her new diet, she also works with a personal trainer Kenya Crooks. He told EXCLUSIVELY:

“We do a lot of fun stuff as a group, as a family,” like bike riding, paint ball and laser tag. “You have to trick her into working out,” he added about Mama June’s daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” joining the workout.

Alana actually added during our interview, “They go to the park. They do pushups, they walk the track, do lunges, they run, they lift weights, and do jumping jacks.”
