Karlie Kloss is bringing back the ’80s on the April 2017 cover of ‘VOGUE’ Australia. The model posed in a glam black and green leopard print dress that was made more retro thanks to its one-shoulder cut. Get the details, ahead.
Karlie Kloss, 24, can make anything look cool! The model recently headed to Bondi Beach in Australia, where she teamed up with VOGUE for a glam ’80s shoot. To nail the throwback look, Karlie turned to Yves Saint Laurent and the fashion house’s Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello.
For her cover look, Karlie wore the black and jade asymmetrical mini dress from YSL’s Ready To Wear collection. The dress features a structural sleeve with an oversized shoulder true to the ’80s style and a second, unattached sleeve that Karlie wore scrunched down just below her shoulder.
The dress included sheer paneling, and Karlie also wore the YSL red and gold Lou Lou Tassel Earrings. Donning a zebra-printed piece with matching shoes for the inside of the mag (which Karlie shared, below, on Instagram), Karlie kept her beauty look the same throughout.
In keeping with the ’80s theme, Karlie’s look centered around her curly blonde hair, which looked blonder than usual and included bangs. Reminding us a bit of her BFF Taylor Swift‘s natural curls, Karlie’s makeup was relatively simple with bronzed skin, sculpted cheekbones and a neutral lip.
