Seeing stripes! Elizabeth Banks rocked an exact look from TommyXGigi’s collection that we first saw on Gigi Hadid, so we have to ask — who do you think rocked the spring ensemble better? VOTE.
Here in NYC, we’re so ready for winter to be over — it’s time to pack away our parkas and boots and break out bold spring looks! Nothing gets us more excited for the warmer weather quite like a new outfit — and Elizabeth Banks, 43, showed off a quintessential spring look when she got all dressed up while promoting her upcoming film, Power Rangers. The actress rocked a striped, sleeveless crop top and matching pencil skirt from the Spring 2017 TommyXGigi collection, which debuted in February at Tommy Hilfiger‘s epic ‘See Now, Buy Now’ runway show in Venice Beach.
Elizabeth dressed up the get-up with a pair of red ankle-strap sandals, which elongated her frame and totally made the vibrant colors in her striped ensemble pop. She wore her hair in soft waves, keeping the look effortless, classic, and cool. While we loved the get-up on the actress, she wasn’t the first famous face to rock the look!
We instantly fell in love with the outfit when we saw Gigi Hadid, 21, model the get-up in the campaign for the line — and considering she collaborated on the collection with the designer, we couldn’t think of a better face to show it off! Gigi brought her laid-back, California cool style aesthetic to the shoot, giving the look a more casual feel and revealing more of her midriff in the silhouette as she wore it with espadrilles.
Both Elizabeth and Gigi totally made the look their own. While Elizabeth dressed it up and Gigi dressed it down, there’s no denying the fact that this classic outfit is a great spring style staple — and it’s currently available for purchase on Tommy’s website, too.
What do you think? Who wore the TommyXGigi outfit better, Elizabeth or Gigi?
