Louis Tomlinson may be in headlines this week for going wild in a fight at the airport and getting arrested, but his friend Steve Aoki dished to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about what the singer’s really like!
Don’t judge Louis Tomlinson, 25, just by his March 3 scuffle with a paparazzo at LAX — there’s much more to him than that, according to Steve Aoki, who knows firsthand from collaborating with the One Direction singer. “He actually is one of the nicest people on the planet, he’s one of the nicest people on the planet,” Steve gushed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He is a real genuine guy and absolutely down to earth. I’m just happy that I know him well.”
The guys’ song “Just Hold On” is climbing the charts, and Steve also dished about Louis’ future solo career. Good news: He has high hopes! “He has so much to offer,” the DJ explained. “He is such a talented guy — musically talented and really creative and an amazing voice already! And he has that all wrapped up into one and he is a real amazing and decent human being. He has a long career ahead of him.”
Unfortunately, Steve’s praise won’t make the 25-year-old’s airport drama go away. In case you missed what went down, Louis was caught on camera going after a photographer who would not stop snapping photos of him and girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, at LAX. The cameraman provoked the situation, according to Louis’ team, but things spiraled even further out of control when Eleanor tried to get away from fans snapping cellphone photos nearby…and the singer intervened again. He was arrested afterward.
One of the women who was involved in the second scuffle claims to have a concussion, and said that she’s planning to press charges against Louis. Aside from a statement released through his rep, Louis has yet to comment on the incident.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Louis meant any harm in the airport scuffle? Do you want him and Steve to work on more music?
