The music video for Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki’s hit, ‘Just Hold On,’ is here — and it’ll make you want to dance! Check out the vid right here.
Louis Tomlinson, 25, isn’t even featured in the video for “Just Hold On,” while Steve Aoki is only shown for a brief moment, but it’s still a great representation of the song! The video follows a couple who meets at a bus stop in London and, then embarks on a wild night together.
After their meeting, the pair is seen in Las Vegas, where they jam out in a club where Steve is spinning, then elope at a chapel. They’re forced to flee when the cops show up, and then their journey takes them to Kuwait, where they drive off into the sunset and share one final kiss.
“Just Hold On” is Louis’ first foray into solo music, and he debuted the song on the same day it was revealed that his mother, Johannah Deakin, tragically died after a battle with leukemia at the age of 43 in December. Just days later, the former One Direction singer performed the track on the finale of The X-Factor, which he said was his mom’s dying wish.
While the 25-year-old didn’t post about the vid himself, he did retweet Steve’s message about the premiere, which is his first activity on social media since he was arrested after an airport scuffle on March 3. Louis got into it with a photographer at LAX, who was intensely snapping photos of him and his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. A rep for the singer released a statement explaining that the paparazzo provoked the situation, but Louis himself has yet to comment on what happened.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of the video for “Just Hold On”? Do you wish that Louis was in it, or does it work without him?
